The Encopresis Treatment program is for children who experience encopresis, including those who have pooping accidents, difficulties consistently using the toilet, and resistance with independent toileting behaviors.

 

Treatment goals for children include: an increasing in understanding bodily functioning, an increase in independent toilet use, a decrease in constipation and stool withholding, and a decrease in soiling accidents. The treatment is conducted by My T. Lien, PhD, NCSP.
